Training Programs

Workshops aim to provide hands-on, practical vector-borne disease training for professionals in the field. These sessions are designed to enhance participants' skills, knowledge, and expertise in various aspects of ectoparasites, vectors, and vector-borne diseases.

The VectorED Network's partner institutions are creating innovative undergraduate and graduate programs. Ohio State, the University of Tennessee, and the University of Pittsburgh are introducing new certificate programs focused on vector-borne disease, while Penn State is developing graduate dual degree offerings in EcoHealth.

The Student Training Network (STN) is a comprehensive program designed to educate and train undergraduate and graduate students in various disciplines related to vectors and vector-borne diseases. As part of the VectorED Network, the STN aims to build capacity for vector-borne disease response while promoting health equity and interdisciplinary collaboration.
